(EN)Use of a fine copper-based powder, specifically a copper-based powder which includes at least 80% particles having a diameter of 45 µm or less, makes it possible to significantly reduce air permeability. When this copper-based powder is used, the sintered metal can be easily made to have a copper content of 40% or less (iron content of 60% or more) and hence enhanced wear resistance and to have an oil permeability to 1.00 g/10 min or less and hence an increased degree of oil film formation.
(FR)Utilisation d'une poudre fine à base de cuivre, précisément une poudre à base de cuivre qui comprend au moins 80% de particules ayant un diamètre de 45 µm ou moins, permettant de réduire considérablement la perméabilité à l'air. Quand on utilise cette poudre à base de cuivre, on peut facilement faire en sorte que le métal fritté contienne 40% de cuivre ou moins (teneur en fer de 60% ou plus), d'où une résistance à l'usure améliorée, et ait une perméabilité à l'huile inférieure ou égale à 1,00 g/10 min, d'où un niveau accru de formation de pellicule d'huile.
