Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of enzyme optimization, and in particular to the optimization of lipase enzymes. Specifically, the invention provides a lipase enzyme which has been modified by the incorporation of one or more non-canonical amino acids to give a lipase congener, said lipase congener having an increased enzymatic activity in an aqueous phase compared to the unmodified enzyme. The invention also relates to the use of such lipase congeners in the soap and detergent industry.

La présente invention concerne le domaine de l'optimisation d'enzymes et en particulier l'optimisation d'enzymes de type lipases. En particulier, l'invention propose une enzyme de type lipase qui a été modifiée par l'incorporation d'un ou plusieurs acides aminés non canoniques pour donner un congénère de lipase, ledit congénère de lipase ayant une activité enzymatique accrue dans une phase aqueuse par comparaison avec l'enzyme non modifiée. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de tels congénères de lipases dans l'industrie des savons et des détergents.
