Systems and methods for managing and monitoring a plurality of disparate electrical and/or electronic devices located at various geographically distributed facilities remotely on the basis of an instantaneous location of a user's mobile device that is associated with one or more electrical and/or electronic devices. Remote management of these devices involve transmitting information corresponding to a current location of a user's mobile device that will be managing the devices, without the need for installing additional software on the devices. An energy management system installed within an organization's infrastructure communicates with users' mobile devices and executes power management commands on the electrical and/or electronic devices, for purposes of monitoring and managing several operational aspects related to such devices. Such power management commands can be on- demand dynamic commands provided by a user's mobile device, or predefined commands stored in the energy management system.

La présente invention se rapporte à des systèmes et à des procédés adaptés pour gérer et pour surveiller, à distance, une pluralité de dispositifs électriques et/ou électroniques disparates placés dans différents locaux distribués géographiquement, cette gestion et cette surveillance se faisant sur la base d'une position instantanée d'un dispositif mobile d'utilisateur associé à un dispositif électrique et/ou électronique ou plus. La gestion à distance de ces dispositifs consiste à transmettre des données correspondant à une position actuelle d'un dispositif mobile d'utilisateur qui va servir à gérer les dispositifs sans qu'il soit nécessaire d'installer un logiciel supplémentaire sur les dispositifs. Un système de gestion d'énergie, installé à l'intérieur de l'infrastructure d'une entreprise, communique avec des dispositifs mobiles d'utilisateurs et exécute des instructions de gestion de puissance sur les dispositifs électriques et/ou électroniques dans le but de surveiller et de gérer une pluralité d'aspects opérationnels en rapport avec de tels dispositifs. Ces instructions de gestion de puissance peuvent être des instructions dynamiques fournies à la demande par un dispositif mobile d'utilisateur ou bien elles peuvent être des instructions prédéfinies enregistrées dans le système de gestion d'énergie.
