Abstract:
(EN) The invention provides a ligament or tendon prosthesis made from two or more of cables braided into a helical structure, where each cable is made from two or more strands. The strands may be made from an alloy exhibiting pseudoelastic properties at body temperature, and may be twisted into a helical structure in the cables.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une prothèse de ligament ou de tendon constituée d'au moins deux câbles tressés en une structure hélicoïdale, chaque câble étant constitué d'au moins deux brins. Les brins peuvent être constitués d'un alliage doté de propriétés pseudo-élastiques à la température du corps et ils peuvent être torsadés en une structure hélicoïdale dans les câbles.
