Abstract:
Disclosed is a positive-electrode composition that improves output characteristics, is low-cost, is easy to handle when fabricating positive electrodes, and has improved yield. Said positive-electrode composition, which is used in positive electrodes, comprises: a positive-electrode active material comprising a lithium/transition-metal composite oxide represented by the general formula Li1+xNiyCozM1−y−z­−wLwO2 (with 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.50, 0.30 ≤ y ≤ 1.0, 0 ≤ z ≤ 0.5, 0 ≤ w ≤ 0.1, 0.30 < y+z+w ≤ 1, M being manganese and/or aluminum, and L being at least one element selected from the group comprising zirconium, titanium, magnesium, and tungsten); and a particulate additive comprising acidic oxide particles.
