Title: ULTRASONIC FLOW RATE MEASUREMENT DEVICE
Abstract:
Disclosed is an ultrasonic flow rate meter that can detect and correct temperature, without the use of a thermistor or other special temperature measurement sensor. The ultrasonic flow rate meter comprises a first ultrasonic oscillator (12) and a second ultrasonic oscillator (13) that are positioned on a flow rate measurement unit (11) such that ultrasonic waves are transmitted by one oscillator and received by the other; a counter (17) for measuring the propagation time transferred between the first and second ultrasonic oscillators (12, 13); a flow rate calculation unit (19) that calculates the flow rate based on the measurement value of the counter (17); an oscillation circuit (16) used as a time counter when calculating the propagation time with the counter (17); and a temperature detection unit (20) that detects temperature by using frequency variation caused by the temperature of the oscillation circuit (16).
