Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for diagnosing a non-disengaging clutch (4, 7) in a motor vehicle, said clutch transmitting a rotary movement of a drive unit (1) to a transmission (3) in the engaged state, the transmission transmitting the rotary movement to the driving wheels (12, 13) of the motor vehicle. In order to identify a failure of the clutch, the speeds of the driving wheels are reduced to zero and an electric signal is output to disengage the clutch, a speed (nw) of an input shaft of the transmission (5, 8) that is connected to the clutch being monitored when the drive unit rotates while the transmission is not in gear.
