(EN)The invention relates to a novel interface between the sheath and the stack of pellets in a nuclear control rod. According to the invention, an interface joint (3) consisting of a material transparent to neutrons, in the form of a highly heat-conductive structure (3) with open porosity, designed such that it can deform by compression according to its thickness, is inserted between the sheath and the column of pellets in B4C material absorbing the neutrons over at least the height of said column. The invention also relates to associated production methods.
(FR)L'invention concerne une nouvelle interface entre la gaine et l'empilement de pastilles dans une barre de commande nucléaire. Selon l'invention, un joint d'interface (3) en matériau transparent aux neutrons, sous la forme d'une structure (3) de conductivité thermique élevée et à porosité ouverte, adapté pour se déformer par compression selon son épaisseur, est inséré entre la gaine et la colonne de pastilles en matériau B4C absorbant les neutrons sur au moins la hauteur de cette dernière. L'invention concerne aussi des procédés de fabrication associés.
