(EN)Disclosed is a device and method for tracing non-rigid objects using shapes and feature information. A background-generating unit generates a background image on the basis of continuously-inputted image frames and updates the background image according to whether or not a movement of an object is detected from the image frames. A motion-detecting unit outputs, as a detection result of a movement area, a rectangle that includes blocks having a difference between the background image and an input image frame. A shape-control-point-extracting unit extracts a shape control point (SCP) from the detected movement area. An object-tracing unit traces an object through a block-based matching algorithm on the basis of the extracted SCP according to whether or not objects are combined, or traces an object through a centroid-based block-matching algorithm or a periodic-update-based block-matching algorithm.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé destinés à tracer des objets non rigides à l'aide d'informations sur les formes et les caractéristiques. Une unité de génération de fond génère une image de fond sur la base des trames d'image entrées en continu et met à jour l'image de fond selon si le mouvement d'un objet est ou non détecté à partir des trames d'images. Une unité de détection de mouvement produit, en tant que résultat de détection d'une zone de mouvement, un rectangle qui comprend des blocs présentant une différence entre l'image de fond et une trame d'image entrée. Une unité d'extraction du point de contrôle de forme extrait un point de contrôle de forme (SCP) de la zone de mouvement détectée.
