(EN)The present invention provides an improved process for producing an alkylated aromatic compound from an at least partially untreated alkylatable aromatic compound having catalyst poisons and an alkylating agent, wherein said alkylatable aromatic compound stream is treated to reduce catalyst poisons with a treatment composition having a surface area/surface volume ratio of greater than or equal to 30 in-1 (76 cm-1) in a treatment zone separate from an alkylation reaction zone under treatment conditions including a temperature of from about 30°C to about 300°C to form an effluent comprising said treated alkylatable aromatic compound.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé amélioré permettant de produire un composé aromatique alkylé à partir d'un composé aromatique au moins partiellement non traité pouvant être alkylé ayant des poisons de catalyseur et un agent d'alkylation, ledit courant de composé aromatique pouvant être alkylé étant traité pour réduire les poisons de catalyseur avec une composition de traitement ayant un rapport de la surface au volume supérieur ou égal à 30 in-1 (76 cm-1) dans une zone de traitement séparée de la zone de réaction d'alkylation dans des conditions de traitement comprenant une température allant de 30 °C à environ 300 °C pour former un effluent comprenant ledit composé aromatique pouvant être alkylé traité.
