(EN)The invention relates to a method allowing the reliable and accurate calculation of the torque of a shaft using two phonic wheels (3, 4) and a sensor (5). According to the invention, the method includes a step comprising the correlation of the signal resulting from a rotation or one sixth of a rotation with the signal resulting from the subsequent rotation or one sixth of a rotation. The length of time (T, T1) between two passages of teeth is calculated by interpolating the cross-correlation function by means of least squares interpolation.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de calculer de manière fiable et précise le couple de torsion d'un arbre à l'aide de deux roues (3, 4) phoniques et d'un capteur (5). Pour cela, le procédé selon l'invention comporte une étape de corrélation du signal issu d'un tour ou d'un sixième de tour avec le signal issu du tour ou du sixième de tour suivant. On calcule alors la durée (T, T1) entre deux passages de dents en interpolant la fonction d'intercorrélation par interpolation des moindres carrés.
