(EN)Embodiments of the present invention relate to an electro-optical display device and a manufacturing method thereof. An electrophoretic display device according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: first and second substrates facing each other; a plurality of cells that are defined by dividing a space between the first and second substrates in a direction parallel to main surfaces of the first and second substrates, and by forming a plurality of partition walls disposed between the first and second substrates; and an optical conversion layer that includes a dielectric fluid filling the cells, and at least one electrophoretic particle diffused in the dielectric fluid, wherein the first substrate includes individual electrodes applying a driving voltage to the cells, and the bottom of each of the cells in the optical conversion layer is directly closed by the first substrate.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage électro-optique et un procédé de fabrication de celui-ci. Un dispositif d'affichage électrophorétique selon un mode de réalisation de l'invention comprend : un premier et un deuxième substrat se faisant face; une pluralité de cellules qui sont définies en divisant un espace entre le premier et le deuxième substrat dans une direction parallèle aux surfaces principales du premier et du deuxième substrat, et en formant une pluralité de parois de séparation disposées entre le premier et le deuxième substrat; et une couche de conversion optique qui comprend un liquide diélectrique remplissant les cellules, et au moins une particule électrophorétique diffusée dans le liquide diélectrique. Le premier substrat comprend des électrodes individuelles appliquant une tension d'excitation aux cellules, et le fond de chacune des cellules dans la couche de conversion optique est directement fermé par le premier substrat.
