(EN)A process of producing L-lactate as defined herein by feeding carbon dioxide to a culture of a cyanobacterial cell and subjecting said culture to light, wherein said cell is capable of expressing a nucleic acid molecule, wherein the expression of said nucleic acid molecule confer on the cell the ability to convert a glycolytic intermediate into L- lactate and wherein said nucleic acid molecule is under the control of a regulatory system which responds to light or to a change in the concentration of a nutrient in said culture.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé de production de L-lactate tel que défini dans la description, par alimentation de dioxyde de carbone à une culture de cellules cyanobactériennes et par soumission de ladite culture à la lumière, ladite cellule étant capable d'exprimer une molécule d'acide nucléique, l'expression de ladite molécule d'acide nucléique conférant à la cellule la capacité de convertir un intermédiaire glycolytique en L-lactate et ladite molécule d'acide nucléique étant sous le contrôle d'un système régulateur qui répond à la lumière ou à un changement de concentration d'un nutriment dans ladite culture.
