(EN)The present invention relates to an apparatus for manufacturing metal foam, the apparatus comprising: a thickening unit for thickening molten metal; a foaming unit connected to the thickening unit by means of a transfer unit, for mixing the molten metal thickened by the thickening unit using bubbles supplied through an aerator so as to foam the metal; and a suctioning unit for suctioning the metal foamed by the aerator and transferring the metal foam to a mold of a predetermined shape. The aerator comprises a foam-mesh type first bubble size controller for primarily controlling the size of the bubbles, and the suctioning unit comprises a foam-mesh type second bubble size controller for secondarily controlling the size of the bubbles. By controlling the bubbles in metal foam to be uniform in size, the uniformity of the size of bubbles in the metal foam can be improved in order to significantly improve the mechanical strength, energy absorption performance, etc. of aluminum foam.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un appareil de fabrication d'une mousse de métal, qui comprend : une unité d'épaississement permettant d'épaissir le métal fondu ; une unité de moussage reliée à l'unité d'épaississement par l'intermédiaire d'une unité de transfert, afin de mélanger le métal fondu épaissi par l'unité d'épaississement en utilisant des bulles apportées par un aérateur de manière à faire mousser le métal ; et une unité d'aspiration permettant d'aspirer le métal transformé en mousse par l'aérateur et de transférer la mousse de métal dans un moule ayant une forme prédéfinie. L'aérateur comprend un premier ajusteur de la taille des bulles de type mousse-maille afin d'ajuster une première fois la taille des bulles et l'unité d'aspiration comprend un second ajusteur de la taille des bulles de type mousse-maille afin d'ajuster une seconde fois la taille des bulles. En ajustant les bulles dans la mousse de métal afin qu'elles soient de taille uniforme, l'uniformité de la taille des bulles dans la mousse de métal peut être améliorée afin d'améliorer significativement la résistance mécanique, la performance d'absorption d'énergie, etc. de la mousse d'aluminium.
