Abstract
(EN) A one pot method of preparing cyclic carbonyl compounds comprising an active pendant pentafluorophenyl carbonate group is disclosed. The cyclic carbonyl compounds can be polymerized by ring opening methods to form ROP polymers comprising repeat units comprising a side chain pentafluorophenyl carbonate group. Using a suitable nucleophile, the pendant pentafluorophenyl carbonate group can be selectively transformed into a variety of other functional groups before or after the ring opening polymerization.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une méthode one-pot de synthèse de composés carbonylés cycliques comprenant un groupement pentafluorophénylcarbonate pendant actif. Les composés carbonylés cycliques peuvent être polymérisés par des méthodes d'ouverture de cycle pour former des polymères ROP comprenant des motifs de répétition incluant un groupement pentafluorophénylcarbonate au titre de chaîne latérale. À l'aide d'un nucléophile adapté, le groupement pentafluorophénylcarbonate pendant peut être converti sélectivement en divers autres groupements fonctionnels avant ou après la polymérisation par ouverture de cycle.
