Abstract
(EN) A honeycomb structure which can be obtained at reduced manufacturing cost. A honeycomb structure comprises: a ceramic block formed by binding together honeycomb fired bodies with adhesive material layers provided therebetween, the honeycomb fired bodies having a large numbers of cells which extend in the longitudinal direction and are arranged side by side with cell walls provided therebetween; and a seal material layer formed on the outer peripheral surface of the ceramic block. The ceramic block includes: an assembly of rectangular cross-sectioned units, the rectangular cross-sectioned units being bound together while adhesive material layers are provided therebetween and having a rectangular shape in a cross-section taken perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction; and triangular cross-sectioned units which have a triangular shape in a cross-section taken perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction and which have outer walls formed on the outer peripheries thereof. Recesses and protrusions are formed in a stepped shape on the outer peripheral surfaces of the assembly of rectangular cross-sectioned units. The triangular cross-sectioned units are fitted in the recesses with adhesive material layers therebetween. The thickness of the seal material layer is partially changed.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une structure alvéolaire pouvant être produite pour un coût de fabrication réduit. La structure alvéolaire selon l'invention comprend : un bloc de céramique constitué en liant ensemble des corps cuits alvéolaires au moyen de couches de matériau adhésif placées entre eux, lesdits corps cuits alvéolaires possédant un grand nombre d'alvéoles disposés côte à côte dans le sens longitudinal et séparés par des parois ; et une couche de matériau d'étanchéité formée sur la surface périphérique extérieure dudit bloc de céramique. Le bloc de céramique comprend : un assemblage d'unités de section rectangulaire, lesdites unités étant liées ensemble (des couches de matériau adhésif étant intercalées entre elles) et présentant un profil de section rectangulaire, perpendiculairement au sens longitudinal ; et des unités de section triangulaire présentant un profil triangulaire lorsqu'elles sont coupées perpendiculairement au sens longitudinal et possédant des parois extérieures à leurs périphéries. Des creux et des protubérances sont formés selon une forme en escalier sur les surfaces périphériques extérieures de l'assemblage d'unités de section rectangulaire. Les unités de section triangulaire sont installées dans les creux, des couches de matériau adhésif étant intercalées. L'épaisseur de la couche de matériau d'étanchéité est partiellement modifiée.
(JA) 本発明は、製造コストを低く抑えることができるハニカム構造体を提供することを目的とするものであり、本発明のハニカム構造体は、多数のセルがセル壁を隔てて長手方向に並設されたハニカム焼成体が接着材層を介して複数個結束されてなるセラミックブロックと、上記セラミックブロックの外周面に形成されたシール材層とからなるハニカム構造体であって、上記セラミックブロックは、長手方向に垂直な断面の形状が四角形である断面四角形ユニットが接着材層を介して複数個結束されてなる断面四角形ユニット集合体と、長手方向に垂直な断面の形状が三角形であり、外周部に外壁が形成された断面三角形ユニットとを含んでなり、上記断面四角形ユニット集合体の外周面には、凹部及び凸部が階段状に形成されており、上記凹部には、上記断面三角形ユニットが接着材層を介して嵌め込まれており、上記シール材層の厚さが部分的に異なっていることを特徴とする。
