Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a method and arrangement for an improved noise canceller in a speech encoder. Sound signals are captured at a primary microphone in conjunction with a reference microphone. An adaptive shadow filter is adapted to the correlation between the signals captured at the primary and reference microphones. Further, a diffuse-noise-field detector is introduced which detects the presence of diffuse noise. When the diffuse-noise-field detector detects diffuse noise, the filter coefficients of the adapted shadow filter is used by a primary filter to cancel the diffuse noise at the signal captured by the primary microphone. Since the filter coefficients of the adapted shadow filter only is used for cancellation when diffuse noise is solely detected, cancellation of the speech signal is avoided.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif destinés à un éliminateur de bruit amélioré dans un encodeur de parole. Des signaux sonores sont capturés au niveau d'un microphone principal en association avec un microphone de référence. Un filtre d'ombre adaptatif est adapté à la corrélation entre les signaux capturés au niveau du microphone principal et du microphone de référence. En outre, un détecteur de champ de bruit diffus est introduit et détecte la présence d'un bruit diffus. Lorsque le détecteur de champ de bruit diffus détecte un bruit diffus, les coefficients de filtrage du filtre d'ombre adapté sont utilisés par un filtre principal afin d'annuler le bruit diffus au niveau du signal capturé par le microphone principal. Étant donné que les coefficients de filtrage du filtre d'ombre adapté ne sont utilisés pour l'annulation qu'en cas de détection uniquement d'un bruit diffus, l'annulation du signal de parole est évitée.
