Abstract
(EN) A technique facilitates detection of water incursion in a hydrocarbon well. Well equipment is positioned in a wellbore with one or more downhole components or regions comprising a tracer material. The tracer material is released in the presence of water to indicate incursion of water at a specific location along the wellbore. A sensor system is employed to detect the released tracer material.
(FR) La présente invention a trait à une technique qui permet de faciliter la détection de l'incursion d'eau dans un puits d'hydrocarbure. L'équipement de puits est placé dans un puits avec un ou plusieurs composants de fond ou des zones comprenant un matériau traceur. Le matériau traceur est libéré en présence d'eau de manière à indiquer l'incursion d'eau à un emplacement spécifique le long du puits. Un système de détection est employé en vue de détecter le matériau traceur libéré.
