Abstract
(EN) Apparatus for channeling combustion gases to a turbine in a gas turbine engine. The engine has a compressor for providing compressed air, a combustor for combusting fuel with the compressed air to provide combustion gases, and a radial inflow turbine having an inlet configured to receive the combustion gases. The turbine is rotatable about an axis for expanding the combustion gases to produce work. The apparatus includes a subassembly of plurality of nozzle guide vanes fixed between a pair of spaced apart, ring-shaped sidewalls. A pair of spaced apart supports is configured to position the subassembly therebetween, concentric with the axis, and adjacent the turbine inlet. The apparatus further includes a plurality of bolt assemblies extending axially through the pair of supports, apertures in the sidewalls, and holes in the guide vanes. The sidewall apertures and guide vane holes each have an internal dimension in the radial direction sized and configured to accommodate thermal expansion and/or contraction sliding radial movement of the subassembly relative to the supports.
(FR) La présente invention se rapporte à un appareil destiné à canaliser les gaz de combustion jusqu'à une turbine dans un moteur à turbine à gaz. Le moteur comporte un compresseur destiné à fournir de l'air comprimé, une chambre de combustion destinée à brûler le combustible avec l'air comprimé pour produire des gaz de combustion, et une turbine à écoulement entrant radial possédant une entrée configurée pour recevoir les gaz de combustion. La turbine peut tourner autour d'un axe pour dilater les gaz de combustion afin de produire du travail. L'appareil comprend un sous-ensemble d'une pluralité d'aubes de guidage de buse fixées entre une paire de parois latérales annulaires espacées. Deux supports espacés sont configurés pour positionner le sous-ensemble entre eux, concentriques avec l'axe et adjacents à l'entrée de turbine. L'appareil comprend en outre une pluralité d'ensembles boulons s'étendant axialement dans la paire de supports, d'ouvertures dans les parois latérales et de trous dans les aubes de guidage. Les ouvertures de parois latérales et les trous d'aubes de guidage présentent chacun une dimension interne dans la direction radiale taillée et configurée pour s'adapter au déplacement radial coulissant par dilatation et/ou contraction thermique du sous-ensemble par rapport aux supports.
