Abstract
(EN) An interlock monitoring system includes a magnetic proximity sensor within a poppet valve type coupler to detect whether the poppet valve is opened or closed. An open poppet valve indicates a proper connection. The sensor consists of dedicated electronics that prevent cheating, or bypassing, by either shorting out or opening the contacts to the sensor. In addition, a ferrous metal proximity switch is used to provide a redundant confirmation of proper connection of the coupler. The ferrous magnetic proximity switch will indicate whether or not the coupler is actually in contact with an appropriate connection. Each of the magnetic proximity sensor and the ferrous magnetic proximity switch must indicate a respective proper condition in order to determine a valid interlock condition.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un système de surveillance de verrouillage réciproque qui comprend un capteur de proximité magnétique ayant un coupleur de type soupape champignon, pour détecter si la soupape champignon est ouverte ou fermée. Une soupape champignon ouverte indique un couplage correct. Le capteur consiste en une électronique dédiée qui empêche la fraude, ou le contournement, soit par le raccourcissement, soit par l'ouverture des contacts du capteur. De plus, un commutateur de proximité métallique à métal ferreux est utilisé pour obtenir une confirmation redondante du couplage correct du coupleur. Le commutateur de proximité magnétique ferreux indiquera si le coupleur est réellement en contact avec un couplage approprié ou non. Chacun du capteur de proximité magnétique et du commutateur de proximité magnétique ferreux doit indiquer un état correct respectif afin de déterminer qu'une condition de verrouillage réciproque est valide.
