Abstract
(EN) A sensing device for detecting a physical parameter exemplified by pressures, strains, temperatures, indices of refraction, and combinations thereof. The sensing device comprises a probe having a housing for sealably mounting therein an optical fibre. The optical fibre is provided at its distal end with at least two spaced apart fibre Bragg gratings. The proximal end of the probe is engageable with a holder, and is in communication with fibre Bragg grating interrogation systems. Spacers and seals may be provided about the optical fibre between the fibre Bragg gratings. An orifice may be provided and sealed with a resilient membrane to provide a contained airspace around each fibre Bragg grating. The contained airspace may be optionally filled with a fluid or a gas.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un dispositif de détection destiné à détecter un paramètre physique exemplifié par des pressions, des contraintes, des températures, des indices de réfraction et leurs combinaisons. Le dispositif de détection comprend une sonde ayant un boîtier pour le montage d'une fibre optique de manière étanche dans celui-ci. La fibre optique comporte à son extrémité distale au moins deux réseaux de Bragg sur fibre espacés. L'extrémité proximale de la sonde peut entrer en prise avec un support, et est en communication avec des systèmes d'interrogation de réseaux de Bragg sur fibre. Des espaceurs et des joints d'étanchéité peuvent être disposés autour de la fibre optique entre les réseaux de Bragg sur fibre.
