Abstract
(EN) A method for predicting the effect of microbes injected into an oil-bearing reservoir, the oil-bearing reservoir being capable of being represented by a first computer-generated grid comprising a first plurality of grid blocks, is provided. Measurement data representing the effect of injecting the microbes into a multiple coreflood apparatus is received. The multiple coreflood apparatus comprises at least first and second material samples indicative of a rock formation associated with said oil-bearing reservoir, the first and second samples being capable of being represented by a second computer-generated grid comprising a second plurality of grid blocks, the first and second samples being representative of different regions of the reservoir and being connected such that microbes injected into the first sample are able to flow to the second sample. Selected data of the received measurement data is input into a computer-implemented reservoir model configured to simulate said effect of microbe injection in relation to the second grid. The reservoir model is executed to generate reservoir model data indicative of the effect of injecting the microbes into the multiple coreflood apparatus. Parameters of the reservoir model are adjusted by matching the reservoir model data against the measurement data, in order to calibrate the reservoir model. The calibrated reservoir model is then executed for the first grid to predict the effect of injecting the microbes into the reservoir. A corresponding system, and a method and apparatus for generating data indicative of the effect of injecting microbes into an oil-bearing reservoir, are also provided.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un procédé pour prédire l'effet de microbes injectés dans un réservoir contenant du pétrole, le réservoir contenant du pétrole étant apte à être représenté par un premier réseau généré par ordinateur comprenant une première pluralité de mailles de base. Des données de mesure représentant l'effet d'injection des microbes dans un appareil d'inondation de cœur multiple sont reçues. L'appareil d'inondation de cœur multiple comprend au moins des premier et second échantillons de matériaux indicatifs d'une formation rocheuse associée audit réservoir contenant du pétrole, les premier et second échantillons étant aptes à être représentés par un second réseau généré par ordinateur comprenant une seconde pluralité de mailles de base, les premier et second échantillons étant représentatifs de régions différentes du réservoir et étant reliés de telle sorte que des microbes injectés dans le premier échantillon sont aptes à circuler dans le second échantillon. Des données sélectionnées des données de mesure reçues sont entrées dans un modèle de réservoir réalisé par ordinateur configuré de façon à simuler ledit effet d'injection de microbes vis-à-vis du second réseau. Le modèle de réservoir est exécuté de façon à générer des données de modèle de réservoir indicatives de l'effet d'injection des microbes dans l'appareil d'inondation de cœur multiple. Des paramètres du modèle de réservoir sont réglés en faisant concorder les données de modèle de réservoir avec les données de mesure, afin d'étalonner le modèle de réservoir. Le modèle de réservoir étalonné est ensuite exécuté pour le premier réseau afin de prédire l'effet d'injection des microbes dans le réservoir. L'invention porte également sur un système correspondant, et sur un procédé et sur un appareil pour générer des données indicatives de l'effet d'injection de microbes dans un réservoir contenant du pétrole.
