Abstract
(EN) A scanner system comprises: a radiation generator arranged to generate radiation to irradiate an object, the radiation generator comprising a radiation source arranged to produce radiation and a filter arranged to provide variable filtering of the radiation from the source; detection means arranged to detect the radiation after it has interacted with the object and generate a sequence of detector data sets as the object is moved relative to the generator, and processing means arranged to process each of the detector data sets thereby to generate a control output arranged to control the radiation generator so as to vary the filtering, thereby to vary the radiation output by the radiation generator as the object is scanned.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un système de balayage qui comporte : un générateur de rayonnement conçu pour générer un rayonnement afin d'irradier un objet, le générateur de rayonnement comportant une source de rayonnement conçue pour produire un rayonnement et un filtre conçu pour assurer une filtration variable du rayonnement issu de la source ; des moyens de détection conçus pour détecter le rayonnement après son interaction avec l'objet et pour générer une séquence d'ensembles de données de détecteur au fur et à mesure que l'objet se déplace par rapport au générateur, et des moyens de traitement conçus pour traiter chacun des ensembles de données de détecteur pour générer ainsi une sortie de commande conçue pour commander le générateur de rayonnement de façon à faire varier la filtration, permettant ainsi de faire varier l'émission de rayonnement par le générateur de rayonnement au fur et à mesure que l'objet est balayé.
