Abstract

An integrated alternative energy roofing panel (10) incorporates an array of solar concentrator tubes (22) interconnected with transparent web (34) to form a joined plate (36) supported in frame elements with an attached working fluid manifold (28 ). The working fluid in the manifold is operatively in contact with the solar concentrator tubes for transferring heat from the tubes. In one exemplary construction, each of the solar concentrator tubes terminates in a conducting metal sleeve (26) which extends beyond the frame element into the manifold. A safety glass panel (38) is attached to one frame element beneath the joined plate. The joined plate and safety glass panel may be scaled to the frame elements to form a chamber (42) and the chamber may be evacuated. A plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) (44) are embedded in the web for supplemental lighting. An array of photovoltaic cells ( 50) mounted to a top surface of the manifold and a battery are interconnected for powering the LEDs. The manifold incorporates a compartment (54) to house the battery as a portion of the integrated panel

La présente invention concerne un panneau de toiture (10) intégré à énergie alternative qui comprend un réseau de concentrateurs solaires (22) en forme de tubes reliés entre eux à l'aide d'une bande transparente (34) afin de former une plaque jointe (36) maintenue dans des éléments cadre et dotée d'un collecteur de fluide actif (28). Le fluide actif présent dans le collecteur est relié fonctionnellement aux concentrateurs solaires en forme de tubes pour transférer la chaleur émanant des tubes. Dans une construction donnée à titre d'exemple, chaque concentrateur solaire en forme de tube possède à son extrémité un manchon conducteur métallique (26) qui s'étend au-delà de l'élément cadre et pénètre dans le collecteur. Un panneau de sécurité en verre (38) est fixé à l'un des éléments cadre sous la plaque jointe. La plaque jointe et le panneau en verre de sécurité peuvent être adaptés aux dimensions des éléments cadre de manière à former une chambre (42) et la chambre peut être sous vide. Une pluralité de diodes électroluminescentes (DEL) (44) sont incorporées dans la bande afin d'obtenir un éclairage supplémentaire. Un réseau de cellules photovoltaïques (50) montées sur une surface supérieure du collecteur et une batterie sont reliés entre eux afin d'alimenter les DEL. Le collecteur comprend un compartiment (54) qui permet de loger la batterie comme une partie du panneau intégrée.
