Disclosed is an antenna that minimizes degradation of communication performance, which depends on an angle made with a reading surface of a reader/writer. Also disclosed is a handheld terminal provided with the disclosed antenna. A coil conductor in the shape of a rectangular spiral is formed on a flexible substrate (10). The flexible substrate (10) is provided with an opening in the area inside the windings of the coil conductor. A magnetic sheet (1) goes through the opening in the flexible substrate (10). An antenna coil (21) is disposed near an end of a circuit substrate (20). A first conductive section (11) and second conductive section (12) of the coil conductor are disposed at opposing locations on opposite sides of the opening. The magnetic sheet (1) is bent such that a proximity region of the second conductive section (12) approaches the circuit substrate (20).

La présente invention se rapporte à une antenne qui réduit la dégradation de la performance d'une communication qui dépend d'un angle établi par rapport à une surface de lecture d'un dispositif de lecture/d'écriture. La présente invention se rapporte également à un terminal portable comprenant l'antenne selon la présente invention. Une bobine conductrice, de la forme d'une spirale rectangulaire, est formée sur un substrat souple (10). Le substrat souple (10) comprend une ouverture dans la zone à l'intérieur de l'enroulement de la bobine conductrice. Une feuille magnétique (1) passe à travers l'ouverture dans le substrat souple (10). Une bobine d'antenne (21) est placée à proximité d'une extrémité d'un substrat de circuit (20). Une première section conductrice (11) et une seconde section conductrice (12) de la bobine conductrice sont disposées à des endroits opposés sur des côtés opposés de l'ouverture. La feuille magnétique (1) est recourbée de telle sorte qu'une région proche de la seconde section conductrice (12) se rapproche du substrat de circuit (20).
