Provided is a negative electrode for a lithium ion secondary cell, which has excellent cycle performance as a result of preventing an active material from peeling or falling off of a collector. The negative electrode is provided with a collector (1), and an active material layer (6) in which a conductive assistant (3) and an active material (2) are affixed to the surface of the collector (1) via a binder (4) comprising a resin having an alkoxy group-containing silane-modified site. The surface of the active material (6) is treated with a surface treatment agent represented by a general formula; the general formula being X-Si(CH3)n-(OR)3-n. (In the formula, n represents 0, 1, or 2, OR represents a methoxy group or an ethoxy group, and X represents a methoxy group, an ethoxy group, or a vinyl group.)

L'invention concerne une électrode négative destinée à une pile rechargeable au lithium-ion, qui présente une excellente efficacité de cycle car elle permet d'éviter l'écaillage ou le décollement d'une matière active d'un collecteur. L'électrode négative comporte : un collecteur (1) et une couche (6) de matière active, un élément (3) auxiliaire conducteur et une matière active (2) étant fixés à la surface du collecteur (1) au moyen d'un liant (4) comprenant une résine comportant un site modifié au silane et contenant un groupe alcoxy. La surface de la matière active (6) est traitée à l'aide d'un agent de surface représenté par la formule générale: X-Si(CH3)n-(OR)3-n. (Dans la formule, n représente 0, 1 ou 2, OR représente un groupe méthoxy ou un groupe éthoxy et X représente un groupe méthoxy, un groupe éthoxy ou un groupe vinyle).
