The invention relates to a transgenic plant comprising a gene that confers resistance to oxidative stress in said plant, wherein said gene encodes an enzyme that has anti-oxidant activity or an enzyme that produces an antioxidant compound, and wherein said gene is under the control of a regulated promoter functional during the early ontogeny of said plant.

La présente invention concerne un végétal transgénique comprenant un gène conférant une résistance au stress oxydant audit végétal, ledit gène codant une enzyme présentant une activité antioxydante ou une enzyme produisant un composé antioxydant, et ledit gène étant contrôlé par un promoteur régulé agissant pendant la phase précoce de l'ontogenèse dudit végétal.
