The invention provides for a medium voltage switchgear connectable to an electrical cable (6), comprising an enclosure (7) provided with a opening (3) for introducing a test electrode (24) into the enclosure (7), a cable test contact (25) which is located inside of the enclosure (7), wherein the cable test contact (25) is electrically connectable with the cable (6), and earthing means (26) for earthing the cable test contact (25) in an earthed position of the switchgear, wherein the earthing means (26) are removable from the earthed position into a test position of the switchgear in which the cable test contact (25) is disconnected from earth (32), wherein the earthing means (26) comprise a movable earthing element (26) which extends between the cable test contact (25) and the opening (3) in the enclosure (7 ), and wherein the earthing element (26) is hollow for receiving the test electrode (24).

L'invention concerne un appareil de commutation pour moyenne tension pouvant être connecté à un câble électrique (6), comprenant une enveloppe (7) dotée d'une ouverture (3) pour l'introduction d'une électrode d'essai (24) dans l'enveloppe (7), un contact d'essai de câble (25) qui est situé à l'intérieur de l'enveloppe (7), le contact d'essai de câble (25) pouvant être électriquement connecté au câble (6), et un moyen de mise à la terre (26) destiné à mettre à la terre le contact d'essai de câble (25) dans une position de mise à la terre de l'appareillage de commutation. Le moyen de mise à la terre (26) peut être retiré de la position de mise à la terre et placé dans une position d'essai de l'appareillage de commutation dans laquelle le contact d'essai de câble (25) est déconnecté de la terre (32). Le moyen de mise à la terre (26) comprend un élément mobile de mise à la terre (26) qui s'étend entre le contact d'essai de câble (25) et l'ouverture (3) ménagée dans l'enveloppe (7). L'élément de mise à la terre (26) est creux afin de recevoir l'électrode d'essai (24).
