Abstract

A network TV includes a network interface, a user interface, and a controller. The network interface establishes a connection with at least one content provider server through a network. The user interface receives an input signal selecting an icon for display. The controller controls output of the selected icon for display along with an image corresponding to the selected icon. The selected icon corresponds to the content provider and is displayed with one or more other icons that correspond to additional content providers, and the image is based on information received through the network interface from the content provider. Further, a method is disclosed for displaying a real-time broadcast screen and icons for receiving contents at the same time, and easily switching between the real-time broadcast screen and a content providing screen in response to user input.

L'invention porte sur une télévision (TV) en réseau comprenant une interface de réseau, une interface d'utilisateur, et un dispositif de commande. L'interface de réseau établit une connexion avec au moins un serveur de fournisseur de contenu par l'intermédiaire d'un réseau. L'interface d'utilisateur reçoit un signal d'entrée sélectionnant une icône destinée à être affichée. Le dispositif de commande commande l'émission de l'icône sélectionnée destinée à être affichée conjointement avec une image correspondant à l'icône sélectionnée. L'icône sélectionnée correspond au fournisseur de contenu et est affichée avec une ou plusieurs autres icônes correspondant à d'autres fournisseurs de contenu, et l'image est basée sur les informations reçues par l'intermédiaire de l'interface réseau à partir du fournisseur de contenu. En outre, l'invention porte sur un procédé d'affichage d'un écran de diffusion en temps réel et d'icônes destinées à la réception simultanée de contenus, et sur la facilité de commutation entre l'écran de diffusion en temps réel et un écran de fourniture de contenu en réponse à une entrée d'utilisateur.
