Abstract

The invention relates to a method and device for chemically destroying at least one filler including at least one organic compound by means of at least one induction plasma formed by at least one plasma gas ionized by means of an inductor, said device including: at least one inductive plasma torch; means for introducing at least one plasma gas into said torch; optionally when the plasma gas(es) includes little or no oxygen, means for conveying the gaseous oxygen into the plasma or into the vicinity of the plasma; means for introducing said filler into said torch; a reaction enclosure (7) capable of enabling thermal destruction of the gases exiting the inductive plasma torch (6); a device (8) enabling the gases exiting the reaction enclosure (7) to be mixed; means for introducing air and/or gaseous oxygen (9) into the mixing device (8); a device (10) enabling at least a portion of the gases derived from the mixing device to be recombined via cooling; the inductive torch (6), the reaction enclosure (7), the mixing device (8) and the recombining device (10) being in fluid communication with one another.

Procédé et dispositif de destruction chimique d' au moins une charge comprenant au moins un composé organique par au moins un plasma d' induction formé par au moins un gaz plasmagène ionisé par un inducteur, ledit dispositif comprenant : au moins une torche plasma inductive; des moyens d' introduction d' au moins un gaz plasmagène dans ladite torche; éventuellement lorsque le ou les gaz plasmagènes ne comprennent pas ou peu d'oxygène, des moyens pour amener de l'oxygène gazeux dans le plasma ou au voisinage du plasma; des moyens d' introduction de ladite charge dans ladite torche; une enceinte de réaction (7) apte à permettre une destruction thermique des gaz sortant de la torche plasma inductive (6); un dispositif (8) permettant de réaliser un brassage des gaz sortant de l'enceinte de réaction (7); des moyens d'introduction d'air et/ou d'oxygène gazeux (9) dans le dispositif de brassage (8); un dispositif (10) permettant de recombiner par refroidissement au moins une partie des gaz issus du dispositif de brassage; la torche inductive (6), l'enceinte de réaction (7), le dispositif de brassage (8), et le dispositif de recombinaison (10) étant en communication fluidique.
