Abstract
(EN) Systems and methods for temperature control of a battery pack at, below, or above a target temperature, and/or within a temperature range. Systems and methods for battery pack thermal management having a thermally conductive interstitial member between battery cells and a thermally conductive plate or plates coupled to the interstitial member along which fluid flows to effect the temperature of the battery pack by drawing heat generated by the battery pack away from the battery pack in multiple directions, and/or by imparting heat to the battery pack in multiple directions. Systems and methods for battery pack thermal management having a thermally conductive interstitial member between cells of the battery pack and a plate coupled to the interstitial member along which fluid can flow in multiple directions to maintain the battery pack at, above, or below a target temperature, within a temperature range, and/or to minimize the pack temperature gradient.
(FR) Cette invention se rapporte à des systèmes et à des procédés de contrôle de la température d'un bloc d'éléments de batterie de façon à déterminer si elle se situe à une température cible, au-dessous de celle-ci ou au-dessus de celle-ci et/ou à l'intérieur d'une plage de températures. Cette invention se rapporte à des systèmes et à des procédés de gestion thermique d'un bloc d'éléments de batterie qui présente un élément interstitiel conducteur de manière thermique situé entre les cellules de la batterie et une ou plusieurs plaques conductrices de manière thermique couplées à l'élément interstitiel le long desquelles un fluide circule de façon à affecter la température du bloc d'éléments de batterie en dissipant la chaleur dégagée par le bloc d'éléments de batterie hors du bloc d'éléments de batterie dans de multiples directions et/ou en fournissant de la chaleur au bloc d'éléments de batterie dans de multiples directions. Cette invention se rapporte à des systèmes et à des procédés de gestion thermique d'un bloc d'éléments de batterie qui présente un élément interstitiel conducteur de manière thermique située entre les cellules du bloc d'éléments de batterie et une plaque couplée à l'élément interstitiel le long de laquelle un fluide peut circuler dans de multiples directions de façon à maintenir la température du bloc d'éléments de batterie à la température cible, au-dessus de celle-ci ou au-dessous de celle-ci, à l'intérieur d'une plage de températures et/ou à réduire au minimum le gradient de température du bloc d'éléments de batterie.
