A display device includes a pixel portion including a plurality of pixels each including a first transistor, a second transistor, and a light-emitting element, in which a gate of the first transistor is electrically connected to a scan line, one of a source and a drain of the first transistor is electrically connected to a signal line, and the other of them is electrically connected to a gate of the second transistor; one of a source and a drain of the second transistor is electrically connected to a power supply line and the other of them is electrically connected to the light-emitting element, and the first transistor includes an oxide semiconductor layer. A period when the display device displays a still image includes a period in which output of a signal to all the scan lines in the pixel portion is stopped.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif d'affichage comprenant une partie à pixels comprenant une pluralité de pixels comprenant chacun un premier transistor, un second transistor et un élément électroluminescent, une grille du premier transistor étant électriquement connectée à une ligne de balayage, l'un d'une source ou un drain du premier transistor étant électriquement connecté à une ligne signal et l'autre étant électriquement connecté à une grille du second transistor ; l'un d'une source ou un drain du second transistor étant électriquement connecté à une ligne d'alimentation électrique et l'autre étant électriquement connecté à l'élément électroluminescent et le premier transistor comprenant une couche de semi-conducteur de type oxyde. Une période lorsque le dispositif d'affichage affiche une image fixe comprend une période dans laquelle la sortie d'un signal vers toutes les lignes de balayage dans la partie à pixels est arrêtée.
