Abstract

A housing for a mine marker that houses RFID electronics. The RFID electronics is surrounded by a resiliently deformable tube that fits inside the housing, which may be an impact resistant plastic. The housing is filled with a first strengthening material and the tube may be filled with a second strengthening material. There is an impedance mismatch (a change in properties between adjacent layers so that shock waves are deflected) at the boundary between adjacent materials, (casing and first strengthening material, first strengthening material and tube, tube and second strengthening material, or casing and tube if they abut) which inhibits shock propagation.

L'invention concerne un logement pour repères de mines qui héberge l'électronique RFID. L'électronique RFID est entourée d'un tube élastiquement déformable qui s'ajuste à l'intérieur du logement, et qui peut être en plastique résistant aux chocs. Le logement est rempli d'un premier matériau de renforcement, le tube pouvant être rempli d'un second matériau de renforcement. Un défaut d'adaptation d'impédance (un changement de propriétés entre des couches adjacentes de telles sorte que les ondes sont réfléchies) peut se produire à la frontière entre des matériaux adjacents, (le logement et le premier matériau de renforcement, le premier matériau de renforcement et le tube, le tube et le second matériau de renforcement, ou le logement et le tube s'ils viennent en butée), ce qui empêche la propagation des chocs.
