The invention relates to methods and apparatuses for providing HARQ feedback in a mobile communication system using carrier aggregation. To suggest a scheme for transmitting feedback on the successful/unsuccessful decoding of transmissions that is operable in FDD mode, the invention proposes to utilize only a single one of plural radio resources available for feedback transmission for signaling feedback for multiple transmissions. A feedback sequence of ACK/NACKs for the transmissions is mapped to one feedback resource combination that is one of the radio resources available for feedback transmission and a modulation symbol of the given modulation scheme that is transmitted on said one radio resource. This scheme can also be used in cases where the number of possible feedback sequences of ACK/NACKs for the transmissions is larger than the number of feedback resource combinations available for feedback transmission.

L'invention porte sur des procédés et des appareils pour fournir une rétroaction HARQ dans un système de communication mobile utilisant une agrégation de porteuses. Pour suggérer un système de transmission de rétroaction concernant le décodage réussi/non réussi de transmission qui est utilisable en mode FDD, l'invention propose de n'utiliser qu'une seule de plusieurs ressources radio disponibles pour une transmission de rétroaction pour signaler une rétroaction concernant de multiples transmissions. Une séquence de rétroaction d'accusés de réception/accusés de réception négatifs (ACK/NACK) pour les transmissions est faite correspondre à une combinaison de ressources de rétroaction qui est l'une des ressources radio disponibles pour une transmission de rétroaction et un symbole de modulation du système de modulation donné qui est transmis sur ladite ressource radio. Ce système peut également être utilisé dans des cas dans lesquels le nombre de séquences de rétroaction possibles d'ACK/NACK pour les transmissions est supérieur au nombre de combinaisons de ressources de rétroaction disponibles pour une transmission de rétroaction.
