Provided is a durable, low-density soft polyurethane foam for use as a vehicle cushion or seat back, said soft polyurethane foam having strong mechanical properties. Also provided is a method for manufacturing said soft polyurethane foam. The provided soft polyurethane foam is manufactured by reacting and foaming a liquid mixture containing an organic polyisocyanate (A), a polyol (B), a chain extender (C), a catalyst (D), and a foaming agent (E). The core density of the provided soft polyurethane foam is between 25 kg/m³ and 35 kg/m³. The aforementioned organic polyisocyanate (A) contains, by mass, 70 - 90% of a diphenylmethane diisocyanate (A-1) and 10 - 30% of a polymethylene polyphenylene polyisocyanate (A-2). Said diphenylmethane diisocyanate (A-1) contains 50 - 100% of 2,4-diphenylmethane diisocyanate and 2,2-diphenylmethane diisocyanate.

L'invention concerne une mousse de polyuréthane souple basse densité, durable, utilisable en coussin de véhicule ou dossier de siège, qui possède de solides propriétés mécaniques. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication de cette mousse, par réaction et moussage d'un mélange liquide contenant A) un polyisocyanate (A), un polyol (B), un allongeur de chaîne (C), un catalyseur (D), et un agent moussant (E). La densité au coeur de cette mousse est comprise entre 25 kg/m³ et 35 kg/m³. Le polyisocyanate organique (A) contient, en masse, 70-90 % d'un diisocyanate de diphénylméthane (A-1) et 10-30 % de polyisocyanate de polyméthylène polyphénylène (A-2). Le diisocyanate de diphénylméthane (A-1) contient 50-100 % de diisocyanate de 2,4-diphénylméthane et de diisocyanate de 2,2-diphénylméthane.

【課題】車両用クッション、シートバックとして低密度化、強固な機械物性、耐久性を有する軟質ポリウレタンフォーム及びその製造方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】有機ポリイソシアネート(A)、ポリオール(B)、鎖延長剤(C)、触媒(D)及び発泡剤(E)を含有する混合液を反応発泡せしめてなる軟質ポリウレタンフォームであって、前記軟質ポリウレタンフォームのコア密度が25~35kg/m3の範囲内にあり、且つ、 前記有機ポリイソシアネート(A)が、該有機ポリイソシアネート(A)100質量%に対して、70~90質量%のジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート(A-1)と、10~30質量%のポリメチレンポリフェニレンポリイソシアネート(A-2)とを含有するものであり、かつ、(A-1)が2,4-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートと2,2-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートを50~100%含有することを特徴する。
