(EN)The present invention relates to the production of a C-15 fuel from lignocellulosic or other feedstock. Specifically at least double mutant of filamentous fungi having the isoprenoid pathway results in production of trichodiene in commercial quantities. One embodiment of the invention relates to producing the fuel at the site of the lignocellulosic feedstock to reduce costs of shipping the feedstock.
(FR)La présente invention concerne la production d'un carburant C-15 à partir d'une charge d'alimentation lignocellulosique ou autre. Spécifiquement, un mutant au moins double de champignon filamenteux doté de la voie des isoprénoïdes permet la production du trichodiène en quantités industrielles. Un mode de réalisation de l'invention concerne la production de carburant au site de la charge d'alimentation lignocellulosique en vue de réduire les coûts d'expédition de la charge d'alimentation.
