(EN)The invention is a process for the production of a hydrocarbon product comprising contacting an oxygenated aromatic feedstock, in the presence of hydrogen, with a catalyst composition comprising: a) a metal hydrogenation catalyst and b) a solid acid catalyst which is active for the deoxygenationof oxygenated hydrocarbons. The process is useful for the conversion of pyrolysis oils and other products derived from biomass and plastics recycling etc, into fuels and chemical feedstocks.
(FR)L'invention porte sur un procédé pour la production d'un produit hydrocarbure, lequel procédé comprend la mise en contact d'un substrat aromatique oxygéné, en présence d'hydrogène, avec une composition de catalyseur comprenant : a) un catalyseur d'hydrogénisation métallique et b) un catalyseur d'acide solide qui est actif pour la désoxygénation d'hydrocarbures oxygénés. Le procédé est utile pour la conversion d'huiles de pyrolyse et d'autres produits dérivés d'une biomasse et de recyclage de matières plastiques, etc. en carburants et en substrats chimiques.
