Abstract
(EN)
The embodiments of the present invention provide for polyurethane foams that include renewable resources while keeping desired properties of the polyurethane product. For example, described herein, according to embodiments of the invention, are polyurethane foams that have a high concentration of renewable resources while retaining favorable airflow, tensile strength, tear resistance, elongation, indentation force deflection, and/or resilience. These foams may also posses improved yellowing resistance and improved water absorption rates.

Les modes de réalisation de l'invention concernent des mousses en polyuréthane qui, bien qu'elles contiennent des ressources renouvelables, possèdent les propriétés recherchées dans le produit en polyuréthane. Par exemple, selon les modes de réalisation de l'invention, des mousses en polyuréthane présentent une concentration élevée en ressources renouvelables tout en conservant des propriétés favorables en termes de circulation d'air, de résistance à la traction, de résistance à la déchirure, d'élongation, de dureté par indentation et/ou de résilience. Par ailleurs, ces mousses peuvent présenter une résistance au jaunissement et une capacité d'absorption d'eau améliorées.
