Abstract
(EN)
A rotary drill bit (10) is provided for drilling a hole in a subsurface formation. The bit body (12) includes a plurality of axially extending ribs (16a, b, c and d) and a flow channel between adjacent ribs. A plurality of cutting elements (19) are fixedly mounting on a respective one of the plurality of ribs. A plurality of flow nozzles (20a, b, c and d) direct fluid to a respective one of the plurality of cutting elements to clean and cool the cutting elements.

L'invention concerne un trépan de forage rotatif (10) permettant de forer un trou dans une formation souterraine. Le corps de trépan (12) comprend une pluralité de nervures (16a, b, c et d) s'étendant dans le sens axial et un profilé d'écoulement entre les nervures adjacentes. Une pluralité d'éléments de coupe (19) sont montés de manière fixe sur une nervure respective de la pluralité de nervures. Une pluralité de tuyères (20a, b, c et d) dirigent du fluide vers un élément respectif de la pluralité d'éléments de coupe pour nettoyer et refroidir les éléments de coupe.
