An improved method of inspecting the tubes of a steam generator of a nuclear reactor involves collecting historic data regarding the tube sheet transition regions of each tube for use during a subsequent analysis to create a new simpler signal from which historic artifacts have been removed.

L'invention porte sur un procédé perfectionné d'inspection des tubes d'un générateur de vapeur d'eau d'un réacteur nucléaire. Ce procédé met en jeu la collecte de données historiques se rapportant aux régions de transition de la plaque tubulaire en vue d'une utilisation pendant une analyse ultérieure pour créer un nouveau signal plus simple à partir duquel les artéfacts historiques ont été éliminés.
