Electronic circuitry and methods are provided. Electrical energy is coupled to a transformer by way of line filter of a power supply. A clipper circuit limits the alternating-current voltage applied to the primary side. A voltage tripler receives output from the secondary side of the transformer and a resulting voltage is coupled to a voltage regulator. At least one regulated direct current voltage is output to a load and is maintained while a current pulse is applied to a predetermined device. The electronic circuitry conforms to pending power conservation requirements for computers and other equipment.

L'invention porte sur des circuits électroniques et des procédés. De l'énergie électrique est couplée à un transformateur au moyen d'un filtre de ligne d'une alimentation électrique. Un circuit écrêteur limite la tension alternative appliquée au côté primaire. Un tripleur de tension reçoit la sortie du côté secondaire du transformateur et une tension résultante est couplée à un régulateur de tension. Au moins une tension continue régulée est fournie à une charge et est maintenue tandis qu'une impulsion de courant est appliquée à un dispositif prédéterminé. Le circuit électronique est conforme à des exigences d'économie d'énergie en instance pour ordinateurs et autres équipements.
