Zur Verbesserung eines Elektrodenkessels (10) zur Wärmeerzeugung mit einem in einem Heizkreislauf angeordneten Gehäuse (11 ), mit wenigstens einem Zulauf (13a,b) und einem Ablauf (14a, b) für einen fluidischen Wärmeträger und einer in dem Gehäuse (11 ) angeordneten lonisierungskammer (16) mit einer als Elektrode ausgebildeten Wandung (26) und einem innerhalb der Wandung (26) angeordneten lonisierungsstab (19) zur Ionisierung des Wärmeträgers beim Durchfluss durch das Gehäuse (11), wobei das Gehäuse (11) vollständig oder großteils aus nicht leitfähigem Material, insbesondere aus einem thermo- oder duroplastischen Kunststoff, bevorzugt PTFE gebildet ist, wird vorgeschlagen, dass zwischen der dem Gehäuse (11) zugewandten Oberfläche (29) der Wandung (26) und der Gehäuseinnenwand (28) ein Durchlaufkanal für Flüssigkeit, insbesondere für Trinkwasser vorgesehen ist.

L'invention concerne l'amélioration d'un chauffe-eau à électrodes (10) servant à produire de la chaleur, qui comporte un boîtier (11) disposé dans un circuit de chauffage, au moins une arrivée (13a,b) et une sortie (14a,b) pour le transport d'un caloporteur fluide et une chambre d'ionisation (16) disposée dans le boîtier (11) qui est dotée d'une paroi tenant lieu d'électrode (26) et d'une tige d'ionisation (19) disposée à l'intérieur de la paroi (26) pour l'ionisation du caloporteur à son passage dans le boîtier (11). Ce boîtier (11) est entièrement ou majoritairement constitué de matériau non conducteur, particulièrement d'une matière plastique thermodurcissable ou thermoplastique, de préférence le PTFE. On réalise l'amélioration considérée en incorporant entre la surface (29) de la paroi (26) tournée vers le boîtier (11) et la paroi interne du boîtier (28) un canal de passage pour liquide, en particulier pour l'eau potable.
