Abstract

A hybrid welding device including a fuel cell (40) and an energy storage device (42) that cooperate to power a welding operation and/or an auxiliary operation are provided. In some embodiments, the hybrid welding device may also include an engine (36) coupled to a generator (38) that is configured to supplement the power provided by the fuel cell and/or the energy storage device. The hybrid welding device may be adapted to provide power for a welding operation and/or an auxiliary operation when operated as a standalone unit and/or when connected to a primary source of utility power.

La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif de soudage hybride comprenant un élément à combustible (40) et un dispositif de stockage d'énergie (42) qui coopèrent pour activer une opération de soudage et/ou une opération auxiliaire.
