A fuel consumption estimation device estimates a vehicle fuel consumption in accordance with a fuel consumption estimation equation formed by velocity information, acceleration information, and a predetermined coefficient. The fuel consumption estimation device includes an actual fuel consumption acquisition means, an estimated fuel consumption acquisition means, a comparison means, and a correction means. The actual fuel consumption acquisition means acquires an actual fuel consumption of a vehicle in accordance with an oil supply amount. The estimated fuel consumption acquisition means acquires an estimated fuel consumption according to the fuel consumption estimation equation. The comparison means compares the actual fuel consumption to the estimated fuel consumption to determine which is greater. The correction means corrects the value of the coefficient according to the comparison result obtained by the comparison means.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'estimation de consommation de carburant qui estime une consommation de carburant d'un véhicule selon une équation d'estimation de consommation de carburant formée par des informations de vitesse, des informations d'accélération et un coefficient prédéfini. Le dispositif d'estimation de consommation de carburant comprend un moyen d'acquisition de la consommation réelle de carburant, un moyen d'acquisition de la consommation estimée de carburant, un moyen de comparaison et un moyen de correction. Le moyen d'acquisition de la consommation réelle de carburant obtient une consommation réelle de carburant d'un véhicule conformément à une quantité d'alimentation en huile. Le moyen d'acquisition de la consommation estimée de carburant acquiert une consommation estimée de carburant en fonction de l'équation d'estimation de la consommation de carburant. Le moyen de comparaison compare la consommation réelle de carburant à la consommation estimée de carburant afin de déterminer celle qui est la plus importante. Le moyen de correction corrige la valeur du coefficient en fonction du résultat de la comparaison obtenu par le moyen de comparaison.
