A turbocompressor assembly (10) which is divided along an axis- (12) of a rotor (11) into at least three sections (13, 18, 22), a bearing section (13) having at least one active magnetic bearing (14), a motor section (18) comprising a motor (19) having a stator (20) arranged along the axis (12) of the rotor, the stator enclosing a circumferential motor gap (21) formed between the stator and the rotor, a compressor section (22) having a compressor (23) for compressing a cooling fluid (30), a gastight housing (26) enclosing the rotor, the bearing section, the motor section and the compressor section and a cooling system (27) having an inlet (28) for supplying the pressurized cooling fluid (30) to the bearing section and the motor section through a fluid channel (29) positioned between the bearing section and the motor section, characterized in that the cooling system further comprises a throttling means (31) positioned adjacent to the motor gap for limiting the flow of cooling fluid from the fluid channel to the motor gap.

L'invention porte sur un ensemble turbocompresseur (10) qui est divisé le long d'un axe (12) d'un rotor (11) en au moins trois section (13, 18, 22), une section palier (13) ayant au moins un palier magnétique actif (14), une section moteur (18) comportant un moteur (19) ayant un stator (20) disposé du long de l'axe (12) du rotor, le stator entourant un espace de moteur circonférentiel (21) formé entre le stator et le rotor, une section compresseur (22) ayant un compresseur (23) pour comprimer un fluide de refroidissement (30), un boîtier étanche aux gaz (26) enfermant le rotor, la section palier, la section moteur et la section compresseur et un système de refroidissement (27) ayant une entrée (28) pour distribuer le fluide de refroidissement sous pression (30) à la section palier et la section moteur par un canal de fluide (29) positionné entre la section palier et la section moteur. Ledit ensemble est caractérisé en ce que le système de refroidissement comporte en outre un moyen d'étranglement (31) positionné à proximité de l'espace de moteur pour limiter l'écoulement du fluide de refroidissement du canal de fluide vers l'espace de moteur.
