A fluid delivery system includes a disposable portion and a non-disposable portion configured to communicate with each other wirelessly. The disposable portion includes electrical elements such as one or more sensors configured to be in sensing proximity of fluid, a processor, a memory and a transceiver. The transceiver is configured to receive radio frequency energy from a transmitter located on the non-disposable portion and power the electrical elements on the disposable portion. The non-disposable portion wirelessly controls the disposable portion during a fluid delivery session by programming operational parameters and monitoring fluid delivery measurements over the wireless communication link.

L'invention porte sur un système de distribution de fluide qui comprend une partie jetable et une partie non jetable configurées pour communiquer l'une avec l'autre de manière sans fil. La partie jetable comprend des éléments électriques tels qu'un ou plusieurs détecteurs configurés pour être en proximité de détection d'un fluide, un processeur, une mémoire et un émetteur-récepteur. L'émetteur-récepteur est configuré pour recevoir une énergie radiofréquence à partir d'un émetteur situé sur la partie non jetable et alimente les éléments électriques sur la partie jetable. La partie non jetable commande de manière sans fil la partie jetable pendant une session de distribution de fluide par programmation de paramètres opérationnels et surveillance de mesures de distribution de fluide sur la liaison de communication sans fil.
