A coherent optical receiver circuit (100) is disclosed in which various components of the optical receiver may be provided or integrated, in one example, on a common substrate (110). Further integration is achieved by incorporating various optical demultiplexer (112) designs that are relatively compact and conserve space on the surface of the substrate. The optical receiver circuit may be used to demultiplex quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) optical signals.

L'invention concerne un circuit de récepteur optique cohérent pouvant comprendre déjà ou intégrer divers éléments du récepteur optique, par exemple, sur un substrat commun. Une intégration plus poussée est obtenue par incorporation de divers modèles de démultiplexeurs optiques relativement compacts qui font économiser de l'espace à la surface du substrat. Le circuit de récepteur optique peut être utilisé pour démultiplexer des signaux optiques de modulation par déplacement de phase en quadrature (QPSK).
