Abstract

The invention relates to a pipe clamping device comprising a housing which has a tubular centre in which a pipe is to be positioned. The pipe clamping device comprises at least three gripping devices for synchronous movement in towards the pipe. Each gripping device is disposed with a direction of movement in towards the tubular centre, where each gripping device is arranged in order, in contact with the pipe, to provide a holding force. The pipe clamping device is provided with elongate flexible transmission elements, each of the elongate flexible transmission elements being attached to one of the gripping devices and running in contact with at least one support means to attachment to each of the other gripping devices. Upon movement of at least one of the gripping device, this movement is transmitted to at least one of the other gripping device by the associated elongate transmission element. The invention also comprises a pipe clamping device in which there is used at least two gripping devices and a torque tong, of which the pipe clamping device is a part.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de serrage de tube comprenant un corps qui comporte un centre tubulaire dans lequel un tube doit être positionné. Le dispositif de serrage de tube comprend au moins trois moyens de préhension pour le mouvement synchrone en direction du tube. Chaque moyen de préhension est disposé suivant une direction de mouvement vers le centre tubulaire, chaque moyen de préhension étant conçu afin d'assurer, en contact avec le tube, une force de retenue. Le dispositif de serrage de tube est pourvu d'éléments de transmission souples allongés, chaque élément de transmission souple allongé étant fixé à un des moyens de préhension et opérant en contact avec au moins un moyen de support pour la fixation à chacun des autres moyens de préhension. Lors du mouvement d'au moins un des moyens de préhension, ce mouvement est transmis à au moins un des autres moyens de préhension par l'élément de transmission allongé associé. Cette invention porte également sur un dispositif de serrage de tube dans lequel au moins deux moyens de préhension et une clé à couple sont utilisés, ledit dispositif de serrage de tube faisant partie de la clé à couple.
