A flat membrane element adapted to be easily vibrated by air bubbling from an air diffusion pipe. A flat membrane element provided with: sheet-like filtration membranes arranged face-to-face so as to be separated from each other to provide a space which serves as the channel for a treated liquid; support elements arranged between the filtration membranes, which are arranged face-to-face, to secure the space which serves as the channel for a treated liquid; and an outer-periphery sealing section for sealing the outer peripheral edge of the filtration membranes, which are arranged face-to-face, without sealing the opening for extracting a treated liquid. The filtration membranes and the support elements consist of flexible materials, the outer-periphery sealing section also consists of a flexible material, the entire flat membrane element is configured to be flexible, and the overall thickness of the flat membrane element is set to be in the range from 6 mm to 1 mm.

La présente invention concerne un élément à membranes planes, conçu pour vibrer facilement sous l'effet de bulles d'air en provenance d'une conduite de dispersion d'air. La présente invention concerne, donc, un élément à membranes planes comportant des membranes de filtration en forme de feuillets, disposées face à face de façon à être séparées l'une de l'autre par un espace servant de passage au liquide traité ; des éléments de support disposés entre les membranes de filtration, disposées face à face pour ménager un espace servant de passage au liquide traité ; et une partie faisant étanchéité à la périphérie assurant l'étanchéité au niveau du bord périphérique extérieur des membranes de filtration disposées face à face, sans obturer l'ouverture permettant l'extraction du liquide traité. Les membranes de filtration et les éléments de support sont constitués de matériaux souples, tout comme la partie faisant étanchéité à la périphérie, l'intégralité de l'élément à membranes planes étant d'ailleurs conçue pour être souple, et l'épaisseur d'ensemble dudit élément à membranes planes est de l'ordre de 1 à 6 mm.
