Disclosed is a method which can efficiently separate the oil content from an oil-containing material by jetting water vapor thereto. High-temperature high-pressure water vapor (B) is jetted to an oil-containing material (A), so that the oil content (a) contained in the oil-containing material (A) is vaporized, thereby being separated from the oil-containing material (A). Also disclosed is an apparatus for separating an oil component comprising an oil-containing material supply pipe (3) for supplying an oil-containing material (A) in the form of mud and a water vapor supply pipe (4) for supplying high-temperature high-pressure water vapor (B), wherein a supply port (3a) of the oil-containing material supply pipe (3) faces a supply port (4a) of the water vapor supply pipe (4).

L'invention concerne un procédé capable de séparer efficacement le contenu huileux d'un matériau contenant de l'huile en projetant de la vapeur d'eau sur celui-ci. De la vapeur d'eau (B) à haute température et à haute pression est projetée sur un matériau (A) contenant de l'huile, de telle sorte que le contenu huileux (a) que renferme le matériau (A) contenant de l'huile soit vaporisé et de ce fait séparé du matériau (A) contenant de l'huile. L'invention concerne également un appareil destiné à séparer un composant huileux et comportant une conduite (3) d'amenée du matériau contenant de l'huile servant à amener un matériau (A) contenant de l'huile sous forme de boue et une conduite (4) d'amenée de vapeur d'eau servant à amener de la vapeur d'eau (B) à haute température et à haute pression, un orifice (3a) d'arrivée de la conduite (3) d'amenée du matériau contenant de l'huile faisant face à un orifice (4a) d'arrivée de la conduite (4) d'amenée de vapeur d'eau.
